John Farrell, Catalyst Director and current President of the MSPA in Europe said “this survey was conducted to establish how the time customers spend waiting to be served varied from country to country and in the different types of service outlet. We also wanted to see how service providers responded to queues, and how they then dealt with customers when they eventually served them”. The results found that across Europe the average customer took over 5 minutes to reach the front of the queue, while the longest queue found was 1 hour and 50 minutes! more
